Descending through the shaft, the group find an ancient pyramid buried entirely beneath the surface. The group's guide Alexa Woods leads them to investigate, and the scientists find hieroglyphs and sculptures that reveal the pyramid as a hunting ground for Predators, collecting Alien trophies as rites of passage. The humans are soon caught in the middle of an ages old war as a group of Predators arrive to awaken a captive, frozen Alien Queen to battle her deadly progeny. When the Aliens gain the upper hand over the Predators, Alexa, the last human survivor, must team up with the only remaining Predator to destroy the pyramid and prevent the Alien Queen from reaching Earth's surface.
